Wulkersdorf is a district of the Emskirchen market in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district in Middle Franconia .

geography

Northwest of the desert lies the forest Winter Anger , southwest the Trammelfeld , about 500 meters northeast of the well field and about 500 meters southeast of the Vogelherd . A communal connection road leads to Rennhofen (1.5 km southwest) or to a communal connection road close to Bundesstraße 8 (0.5 km north-east).

history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1361/64 in the Burggräflichen Salbuch as "Wolkendorf". Perhaps the place name goes back to "Wolfgersdorf" after the 9th century reigning Bishop of Würzburg Wolfger , who had acquired Fulda property from Abbot Ratger in 826 in Markt Erlbach .

Towards the end of the 18th century there were four properties in Wulkersdorf. The high court was exercised by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth city bailiff Neustadt an der Aisch . The village and township government had the box office Neustadt held. All properties had the Principality of Bayreuth as the landlord (box office Neustadt: two half yards; monastery office Münchaurach : two Gütlein).

As part of the community edict , Wulkersdorf was assigned to the tax district of Herrnneuse , which was formed in 1811 . It also belonged to the rural community of Herrnneuses, founded in 1813 . With the second community edict (1818) it was re- grouped into the newly founded rural community Eggensee . On July 1, 1970, before the regional reform in Bavaria , Wulkersdorf was incorporated into Emskirchen, while Eggensee came to Neustadt an der Aisch .
