District court Eberswalde

The district court Eberswalde is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of seven district courts (AG) in the district of the regional court Frankfurt (Oder) .

Seat and District of the Court

The court is based in Eberswalde , the district town of the Barnim district in the north-east of Brandenburg .

The 812 km² judicial district includes the cities and communities Althüttendorf , Britz , Chorin , Eberswalde, Friedrichswalde , Hohenfinow , Joachimsthal , Liepe , Lunow-Stolzenhagen , Niederfinow , Oderberg , Parsteinsee , Schorfheide and Ziethen . Around 64,700 people live in it.

Insolvency and agricultural matters are processed by the Frankfurt (Oder) District Court , which also keeps the trade , cooperative , association and partnership register . For foreclosure proceedings is District Court Strausberg responsible. Dunning procedures are processed by the Wedding District Court as the central dunning court .

Superior courts

The District Court of Frankfurt (Oder) is superordinate to the District Court of Eberswalde . The competent higher regional court is the Brandenburg Higher Regional Court in Brandenburg an der Havel .
