Allerheiligen is an unofficial part of the Wendelstein market in the Roth district of Central Franconia .

Geographical location

The former wasteland with the All Saints Church is now house numbers 1, 3 and 5 on Rangaustraße in Kleinschwarzenlohe . The Allerheiligenweg settlement was built to the northwest.

history

In 1448 the place was first mentioned in a document on the occasion of the church consecration. In the same year, Sebald Rieter donated the early mass. The Rieter von Kornburg held the church patronage until they died out in 1753 .

Towards the end of the 18th century, Allerheiligen belonged to Kleinschwarzenlohe. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach judge's office in Kornburg . The Mesnerhaus with Fischgut had the Rieter'sche Foundation Administration Kornburg the Knights Canton Altmühl as a landlord . The church of the same name also belonged to the wasteland. Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach , Allerheiligen was given house numbers 34 and 35 in Kleinschwarzenlohe. In 1799 there were 5 subjects in the village.

As part of the parish edict , All Saints' Day was assigned to the Großschwarzenlohe tax district , Section II , in 1808 . The Bavarian original cadastre shows All Saints' Day in the 1810s as a wasteland with two hearths, its own well, the church and the church and the sacred field , clearly separated from the Altort Kleinschwarzenloh. It belonged to the rural community Kleinschwarzenlohe formed in 1818 . After 1900, Allerheiligen is no longer listed as a district.

On May 1, 1978, Allerheiligen was incorporated into Wendelstein as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .

  • As a special feature, there is a small historical cemetery within the church wall with the so-called “suicide corner” on the north side. In the past, apart from the graves of the local families, the partially nameless corpses of those who, for example, killed themselves by jumping bridges in the forest of Kleinschwarzenlohe on the former Ludwig-Danube-Main Canal , or were washed ashore at the Erichmühle dam , were buried there, apart from the graves of the local families . None of these grave sites bear any inscriptions and there are no subsequent burials.

The All Saints Church was originally a branch of Our Lady (Katzwang) and like this one became Evangelical-Lutheran with the Reformation. The All Saints Church has been part of the parish of St. Nikolaus (Kornburg) since the 18th century at the latest .
