Weiterndorf (colloquially: Weid ə ʴndorf ) is a district of the city of Heilsbronn in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The Schwabach flows south of the village . A community road leads to a junction of the B 14 (0.6 km to the west). Another communal road runs to the Rainstraße industrial area from Heilsbronn (0.7 km north) or via the Butzenhof to Weißenbronn (1.3 km south).

history

The place was first mentioned in the founding document of the Heilsbronn monastery (1132) under the name "Witramenesdorf". The defining word of the place name is the personal name Wîtram, which is to be assumed as the founder of the place. At that time, the place consisted of at least four courtyards that were left to the monastery. In the course of time the monastery came into the possession of all properties.

In the 16-point report of the Heilsbronn monastery office from 1608, 13 teams are listed for Weiterndorf: the nine farmers and four Köbler had the Heilsbronn monastery administration office as landlord . There was also a sheep farm and a sheep farm. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste and city bailiff's office in Windsbach . During the Thirty Years War , Weiterndorf was not burned down, but it was attacked and looted several times. Only four of the 14 properties remained inhabited during the war. Even in 1681 six courtyards were still considered deserted.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 16 properties in Weiterndorf (3 farms, 9 estates, 1 sheep farm, 1 forge, 1 mill, community shepherd's house). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach judge's office in Roßtal , the village and community rulership and the lordship over all properties was held by the Heilsbronn monastery administrator. At that time there were 15 subject families. From 1797 to 1808 the place was subordinate to the Justice and Chamber Office Cadolzburg .

In 1806 Weiterndorf came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict, Weiterndorf was assigned to the Bürglein tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Bürglein, founded in 1810 . With the second community edict (1818), Weiterndorf with Butzenhof and Weiterndorfer Mühle broke away from Bürglein and formed a rural community. It was subject to the Heilsbronn Regional Court in administration and jurisdiction and the Windsbach Rent Office in the financial administration . From 1862 to 1879 Weiterndorf was administered by the Heilsbronn district office, since 1880 by the Ansbach district office (renamed the Ansbach district in 1938 ) and the Heilsbronn rent office (1920–1929: Heilsbronn tax office , from 1929: Ansbach tax office ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court Heilsbronn until 1879, 1880–1956 district court Heilsbronn , since 1956 district court Ansbach . The municipality had an area of 4.073 km². In the course of the regional reform , Weiterndorf was incorporated into Heilsbronn on April 1, 1971.
