Heilsbronn District Court

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Overview map of the district courts of Heilsbronn and Gunzenhausen in 1849

The Heilsbronn Regional Court was an older Bavarian regional court that existed from 1808 to 1879 and was based in Heilsbronn in today's Ansbach district .

location

The district court Heilsbronn bordered on the west by the District Court of Ansbach , on the north by the district court Erlbach , in the northeast on the district court Cadolzburg , on the east by the district court Pleinfeld and the south by the district court Gunzenhausen .

geology

The climate was considered moderate. The terrain was described as “not very flat, but mostly mountainous and hilly”, the soil quality as “mostly sandy, but fertile”, although there was only “little fat and black earth”.

history

In 1803 the district court of Heilsbronn was established in the course of the administrative reorganization of Bavaria . It was formed from the Justice and Chamber Office Windsbach of the Ansbach district, the Nuremberg care office Lichtenau , the municipal bailiff office Eschenbach of the Teutonic Order, and parts of the Eichstättischen care office Abenberg and the Justice and Chamber Office Neuhof of the Neustädter Kreis. The district court belonged to the Rezatkreis formed in 1808 (renamed Middle Franconia in 1838 ).

1808, the District Court Heilsbronn was within the municipality edict in 20 tax districts divided by the newly created Rentamt Windsbach were managed: Aich , Barthelmes Herzogenaurach , Bertholdsdorf , Bürglein , Dürrenmungenau , Gerber Village , Heilsbronn , Hirschlach , Immel village , Lichtenau , Merkendorf , Mitteleschenbach , Neuendettelsau , Petersaurach , Saxony , Sauernheim , water inaccuracy , Weißenbronn , Windsbach , (Wolframs-) Eschenbach .

In 1810 rural communities emerged which were congruent with the tax districts. With the second community edict (1818), the rural communities received more powers. At the same time, most of the rural communities that had existed up to that point were split up or individual places changed their rural communities, so that there were finally the following 56 communities (3 Municipal G. , 53 Rural G.): Aich , Altendettelsau , Barthelmesaurach , Bechhofen , Beerbach , Bertholdsdorf , Betzdorf , Biederbach , Bonnhof , Brunn , Bürglein , Dürrenmungenau , Ebersbach , Elpersdorf , Fischbach , Gerbersdorf , Haag , Heglau , Heilsbronn , Herger Bach , Herpersdorf , Hirschlach , Höfstetten , Immel village , Ismannsdorf , Kehlmünz , Ketteldorf , Lichtenau , Malmersdorf , Merkendorf , Mitteleschenbach , Moos Bach , Münch Erlbach , Neuendettelsau , Petersaurach , Retz village , Reutern , axes , Sauer home , Sly Bach , Seitendorf , Selge city , Suddersdorf , Untereschenbach , (sub) Rottmann village , Veitsaurach , Volkersdorf , Wassermungenau , Wattenbach , Weißenbronn , Weitersdorf , Wernsbach , wind stream , Winkelhaid , (Wolframs-) Eschenbach , Wollersdorf .

The Heilsbronn District Court had an area of 5.96 square miles (= 327 km²). There were 148 localities (3 cities, 2 markets, 12 parish villages , 6 parish villages , 44 villages , 29 hamlets and 52 wastelands ) and 56 parishes (2 3rd class magistrates, 1 town parish, 2 market parishes and 51 rural parishes).

On July 2, 1833, the city of Wolframs-Eschenbach sent a request to the King of Bavaria to move the seat of the regional court there. On April 15, 1836, Windsbach applied for the formation of its own regional court consisting of 21 communities (Suddersdorf, Wollersdorf, Bertholdsdorf, Veitsaurach, Barthelmesaurach, Ebersberg, Brunn, Retzendorf, Hergersbach, Dürrenmungenau, Berbach, Wassermungenau, Untereschenbach, Winkelhaid, Mitteleschenbach, Elpersdorf, Moosbach , Neuses, Bechhofen, Sauernheim and Ismannsdorf). The municipality of Barthelmesaurach requested the transfer to the regional court Schwabach , the municipalities of Saxony and Retzendorf and the town of Zandt requested the transfer to the regional court of Ansbach . All requests were rejected.

In 1857 the communities of Biederbach , Gerbersdorf , Heglau , Hirschlach , Merkendorf and Selgenstadt were assigned to the Gunzenhausen district court . This reduced the number of municipalities to 50, the number of localities to 138 and the area to 5.43 square miles (= 299 km²).

In 1862 the administration was taken over by the newly created district office of Heilsbronn . The Heilsbronn district court was now only responsible for the jurisdiction.

economy

Livestock breeding should “nowhere be as insignificant as here” in contrast to the products of hunting, fishing and agriculture. Potatoes, madder , hops and tobacco in particular were grown, while spelled was not grown at all. In terms of manufacturing, there were stocking, oilcloth and donut production and beer brewing.

structure

With the help of the table of contents you can navigate among the individual locations. The districts must first be sorted for this. With the ↑ you can navigate up again (tax districts, rural communities). With type is type of settlement meant and EW population. Both are taken from the alphabetical index of all the villages [...] contained in the Rezatkkreis , published in 1818 . A distinction is made between town (St.), market (Mkt.), Pfarrdorf (Pfd.), Kirchdorf (Kd.), Dorf (D.), Weiler (W.), Einöde (E.), Mühle ( M.). The parish, school and post office districts indicate the one to which the place belonged for the longest in the period from 1808 to 1879. There had been no changes in the vast majority of places. The indication of the parish and the school depends on the denomination of the majority of the population. Here, too, almost all places are mono-denominational. Finally, it is also indicated to which administration the place belonged before ( HRR ) and afterwards ( regional reform in Bavaria ). At the time of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation, the following rulers existed in this area of investigation: Brandenburg-Ansbach (BB-AN), Brandenburg-Bayreuth (BB-BT), the Hochstift Eichstätt (HS EI), the German Order (DO), the Imperial city of Nuremberg (RS N) and manors (RG). The decisive factor here is who exercised village and community rule and the lower court in Etters. Even in the time when Ansbach-Bayreuth was under Prussian administration (1797–1806), the rulers were largely identical.
