Coming from Petersaurach

Altendettelsau (colloquially: Dedlsa or Aldndedlsa ) is a district of the municipality of Petersaurach in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village lies in the valley of the Heiligenbächel, a right tributary of the Aurach . To the east lies Geichsenhof , south Neuendettelsau , west Petersaurach. Approx. The Zeileck corridor is 0.5 km to the southeast .

history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1141 in the papal bull in which the founding of the Heilsbronn monastery was confirmed. Among other things, it was wealthy in "Tetelesowe" at that time. The final word of the place name is the personal name Tettilî (n), a diminutive of the personal name Tato / Teto, the basic word is Aue . In the Würzburger Lehenbuch , which must have originated between 1303 and 1313, the place is mentioned for the first time as "Altentetelsaw" to differentiate between Neuendettelsau, two kilometers south-east . The Lords of Heideck practiced at that time in the village from the advocacy of a fief.

In 1318 the place consisted of six properties, all of which belonged to the Nuremberg patrician Berthold Pfinzing as a fief of the Würzburg bishopric . At this time there is no longer any mention of Heilsbronn goods. In 1364 the Heilsbronn monastery acquired two properties (a farm, a fief) from the Pfinzings. Around 1450 three properties came to the Lords of Eyb zu Vestenberg . In 1518, another property that had meanwhile belonged to the von Seckendorff family came to the Eyber.

In the 16-point report of the Oberamt Windsbach from 1608, seven teams are listed for Altendettelsau: Two farms and one estate were subordinate to the Heilsbronn monastery administration , two farms and one estate were under the control of the Lords of Eyb zu Neuendettelsau and one farm was under the control of the Lords of Vestenberg . There was also a communal shepherd's house. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste and city bailiff's office in Windsbach . According to the 16-point report of the Heilsbronn Monastery Office, also from 1608, only two Heilsbronn properties are given (a farm and a Köblergut ).

In the years 1718 and 1728 two properties were built which were subordinate to the Windsbach caste office . In the Oberamtsbeschreibung of the Principality of Ansbach by Johann Georg Vetter from the year 1732 the place is described as follows: "Weiler, 1 Castenamt Windsbachisches Guth and newly built Würthshäuslein, item 2 Halbhöff and one Guth, so belong in the administration office Heilsbronn, then 3 adelich Crailsheim- Rüglandische subjects including 1 common shepherd's house. "

Towards the end of the 18th century there were eight properties and a shepherd's house belonging to the municipality in Altendettelsau. The high court and the village and community rulership was exercised by the caste and municipal bailiff's office in Windsbach. The landlords were the Principality of Ansbach (Heilsbronn monastery administration office: 2 half yards, 1 farm; Windsbach box office: 1 half yard, 1 house with forge) and the manor Rügland of the Lords of Crailsheim (1 yard, 2 half yards). From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the Justice and Chamber Office Windsbach .

In 1806 Altendettelsau came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, Altendettelsau was assigned to the Aich tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Aich, founded in 1810 . With the second community edict (1818) Altendettelsau broke up with the Froschmühle von Aich and formed a rural community with Ziegendorf . It was subject to the Heilsbronn Regional Court in administration and jurisdiction and the Windsbach Rent Office in the financial administration . From 1862 to 1879 Altendettelsau was administered by the Heilsbronn District Office , since 1880 by the Ansbach District Office (renamed the Ansbach District in 1938 ) and the Heilsbronn Rent Office (1920–1929: Heilsbronn Tax Office , from 1929: Ansbach Tax Office ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court Heilsbronn until 1879, 1880–1956 district court Heilsbronn , since 1956 district court Ansbach . The municipality had an area of 4.018 km².

On January 1, 1972, the community was dissolved as part of the regional reform: Altendettelsau and Ziegendorf were reclassified to Petersaurach, the frog mill came to Neuendettelsau.
