Neumühle (colloquially: Naimíl ) is a district of the municipality of Petersaurach in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies in the lower valley of the Steinbach at a dividing arm and at the foot of the right valley slope, a little before the mouth of the stream from the right into the Haselbach , sometimes also called Haslach , which flows right into the Bibert . The flowing branch of water is dammed up immediately in front of the mill to form a pond of about 0.1 ha.

A local road leads to a communal connection road (0.1 km) that leads to Steinbach (1.1 km southeast) or to state road 2246 (0.3 km west) between Bruckberg (1 km south) and Kleinhaslach (1.5 km north ) runs.

history

The mill was first mentioned by name in 1342 as "Neuwemül".

In the Oberamtsbeschreibung of the Principality of Ansbach by Johann Georg Vetter from the year 1732, the place is described as follows: “Neu Mühl A Castenamt Anßpachische Mühl, lies below Pruckberg, is parish to Großenhaßlach and the Zehingens exempted, otherwise belongs to the Steinbacher community, with the Vogthey and Hochfreischl. High authorities, however, in the local upper and caste office Anßpach. "

Towards the end of the 18th century the Neumühle belonged to Steinbach . The Mühlgut had the Brandenburg-Ansbach Hofkastenamt Ansbach as landlord . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Neumühle received the number 1 of Steinbach when the house numbers were assigned. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the community edict, Neumühle was assigned to the Großhaslach tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the Großhaslach rural community founded in 1811 . On May 1, 1978 this was incorporated into Petersaurach as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
