history

The place was first mentioned in 1443 with the name "Adelmannsgeseß" and the meaning to the residence of the nobleman . The lords of Vestenberg were the landlords of the place as early as the 15th century .

Towards the end of the 18th century there were ten properties in Adelmannssitz (1 mill, 5 Gütlein, 3 empty houses , 1 half- empty house). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Hofkastenamt Ansbach . The Vestenberg Vogtamt had the village and community rulership and the land rulership over all properties . In addition to the property, there were communal buildings (house, crushing house). From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach .

As part of the community edict, Adelmannssitz was assigned to the Vestenberg tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community Vestenberg, founded in 1811 . This was incorporated into the community of Petersaurach on May 1, 1978 as part of the regional reform .
