Neubruck (colloquially: Naibruk ) is a district of the municipality of Bruckberg in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

Immediately to the east of the hamlet flows the Haselbach, a right tributary of the Bibert , and immediately to the north the Rippach flows as a left tributary of the Haselbach. State road 2246 runs immediately south of Neubruck and leads to Reckersdorf (0.7 km north) or Obereichenbach on the B 14 (6 km south-west). The district road AN 10 leads to Frankendorf (1.5 km west) or to Wustendorf (0.5 km south-east).

history

Neubruck was first mentioned in 1837 as the "Bruckwirthshaus". However, this long place name could not prevail in the vernacular and was changed to Neubruck after 1900. The Bruckwirtshaus is popularly called "Hundsvotzn". The place belonged from the beginning to the political municipality Bruckberg.
