Mittelmühle (colloquially: Midlmíl ) is a district of the municipality of Bruckberg in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Haselbach, a right tributary of the Bibert . A local road leads to Bruckberg to state road 2246 (0.1 km northwest).

history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1433 as "middle mül". The middle mill is named after its location between the lower mill and the Neumühle .

Towards the end of the 18th century, when the house numbers were assigned, the Mittelmühle was given number 24 for the village of Bruckberg. She had the Brandenburg-Ansbach Hofkastenamt Ansbach as landlord . From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the judiciary and chamber office of Ansbach . As part of the community edict, Mittelmühle was assigned to the Bruckberg tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Bruckberg, founded in 1811 .

The place has been Protestant since the Reformation. The residents of the Evangelical Lutheran denomination are parish to St. Martin , the residents of the Roman Catholic denomination are parish to St. Bonifatius (Dietenhofen) .
