Leipersloh (Franconian colloquial Laib ɘ schloa ) is a district of the town of Windsbach in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village is surrounded by the wooded areas of Holzwinkel (west), Brunner Wald (north) and Lache (north-east). In the northeast there are also the Lachweiher and in the northwest the Rötelbuck ( 441  m above sea level ). Immediately to the west of the village rises the Hopfengraben, which flows together with the Rößigbächlein and Hergersbächl to the Goldbach, which is a left tributary of the Franconian Rezat .

A community road leads the federal highway 466 crossing to Kapsdorf (1.6 km northeast) or to Wolfsau to the state road 2220 (2.5 km southwest). Further communal roads lead to the St 2220 immediately north of Hergersbach (1.3 km south), to Kettersbach to the district road AN 15 (1.9 km north) and the B 466 (1.2 km south-east).

history

The place was first mentioned in 1282 as "Leuberloch" in a document in which the acquisition of a fief by Count Ludwig von Oettingen was confirmed. The place name is derived from an identical field name. The basic word of the field name is "Lohe" (= wood, bushes), the defining word of the personal name "Luitbert". At that time, the Eichstätt monastery was already a feudal lord in the village. In the Salbuch in Eichstätt , which was created around 1300, 4 Huben , 1 fiefdom and 1 forest fiefdom are recorded for the place . Due to the destruction of the Huben there was 1 farm, 1 estate, 9 small farms and 1 forge in the village in 1407. For the collegiate monastery of St. Nikolaus zu Spalt , the Salbuch of 1380, 1517 and 1549 each specify a subject family in Leipersloh that is subject to tax.

In the 16-point report of the Oberamt Windsbach from 1608, 12 teams are listed for Leipersloh: the 8 farms and 4 Sölden estates were all subordinate to the Abenberg caste office in Eichstätt . There was also a communal shepherd's house. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste and city bailiff's office in Windsbach . In the Thirty Years' War three property burned down, the rest were deserted. In the Eichstätter Salbuch of 1671, 10 subject families are recorded for Leipersloh. It was not until 1693 that all courtyards were occupied again.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 12 properties in Leipersloh (7 courtyards, 1 three-quarter courtyard, 3 estates, 1 economy). The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste and city bailiff's office in Windsbach. The Abenberg caste office in Eichstätt held rulership of the village and the community and of all properties. In addition to the property, there were also communal buildings (forge, shepherd's house). From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the Justice and Chamber Office Windsbach . The number of properties remained unchanged.

As part of the community edict, Leipersloh was assigned to the Bertholdsdorf tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Bertholdsdorf, founded in 1810 . With the second community edict (1818) Leipersloh was re-incorporated into the newly formed rural community of Brunn .

In 1864 a chapel with a bell tower was built. It was restored in 1984 by the city of Windsbach.

On January 1, 1972 Leipersloh was incorporated into the municipality of Windsbach as part of the regional reform .
