St. Nicholas (gap)
St. Nikolaus is a former collegiate monastery in Spalt in Bavaria in the diocese of Eichstätt .
history
The St. Nicholas of Myra and St. The monastery consecrated to Maria was founded in 1295 by Konrad the Pious , Burgrave of Nuremberg , and his wife Agnes with the help of the Bishop of Eichstätt and moved to Abenberg in 1296 . In 1300 the relocation took place. The monastery was merged with the collegiate monastery St. Emmeram at the beginning of the 17th century . The united pens were abolished in 1804/1806 .
St. Nicholas Church
Built around 1320 and rebuilt from 1767 according to plans by the prince-bishop's court architect Moritz Pedetti as a sacred building in the Rococo style with a double tower facade, the Church of St. Nicholas was closed after the secularization from 1806 to 1836.

The organ was built in 1868 by the organ builder Steinmeyer , and was last restored in 2005 by the organ builder Sandtner . The Kegelladen instrument has 10 stops on a manual (Principal 8 ′, Covered 8 ′, Salicional 8 ′, Gamba 8 ′, Octave 4 ′, Flute 4 ′, Superoctave 2 ′, Mixtur III 2 2 ⁄ 3 ′) and pedal ( Subbass 16 ′, violon 8 ′). The actions are mechanical.
