Norsk Villakssenter
The Norsk Villakssenter ( Norwegian Wild Salmon Center ) is located on Lærdalselva on the outskirts of Lærdal municipality in Fylke Vestland . The Lærdalselva is one of the most famous salmon rivers in Norway.
The Villakssenter has a 20 m long aquarium with direct access to the Lærdalselva. In this aquarium you can see salmon and sea trout in their natural environment. Exhibitions and an award-winning film in the panorama cinema provide information about the life of salmon. Other exhibitions deal with salmon fishing and fly fishing .
