history

In 1317 the place was first mentioned in the Würzburger Lehenbuch as "Ruckersdorf". The defining word of the place name is the personal name "Rücker" (= Rüdiger) . A person of this name can be assumed to be the founder of the settlement.

The Heilsbronn monastery acquired two farms there, one of which was purchased from Martin von Eyb in 1503 for 160 guilders. In the Salbuch of the Nuremberg Nursing Office Lichtenau of 1515 5 subject families are given for Rückersdorf: 1 subject was subordinate to the imperial city of Nuremberg, 1 subject to the Heilsbronn monastery, 1 subject to the parish of Großhaslach , 1 subject to the Gumbertuss pen and 1 property to the Lords of Eyb . There was also a communal shepherd's house.

In the 16-point report of the Heilsbronn monastery office from 1608, 1 farmer is given for Rückersdorf who was subordinate to the Heilsbronn monastery administration office. 1 Heilinggut was under the parish of Großhaslach . The other landlords are not given. The hamlet burned down during the Thirty Years War .

In the official description of the Lichtenau nursing office from 1748, the place is part of the Immeldorf main team. There were 6 subject families, 2 of which were from Nuremberg.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were six properties and a community shepherd's house in Rückersdorf. The high court over 1 property was exercised by the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste and municipal bailiff's office in Windsbach , and the Lichtenau maintenance office over the rest. A municipality Lord , the village had not. The landlords were the Principality of Ansbach ( Stiftsamt Ansbach : 1 Dreiviertelhof, Klosterverwalteramt Heilsbronn : 1 Dreiviertelhof, 1 Gut), the Nuremberg owner von Zeltner (1 Viertelhof, 1 Gut) and the manor Frohnhof of the Lords von Eyb (1 Gut).

As part of the community edict, Rückersdorf was assigned to the Sauernheim tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Sauernheim, founded in 1810 . With the second community edict (1818) Rückersdorf was re-incorporated into the newly formed rural community of Fischbach . This was incorporated into the market in Lichtenau on April 1, 1971 as part of the regional reform .
