The Zandtbach is a right tributary of the Franconian Rezat in Middle Franconia .

etymology

The name is composed of the field name -ze , which is common in Franconia, and the clear -bach . The brook thus originally had no name of its own, but was a small flowing water in a certain corridor. At a point where the brook was waded, the place named after this place Wattenbach was created .

geography

course

The Zandtbach rises south of Zandt from a small pond. It flows over the Zandt , Weiden , Gotzen and Erlenmühle to Wattenbach . The Zandtbach runs past Fischbach and Rückersdorf in a north-easterly direction to the Kunstmühle , where it flows into the Franconian Rezat .
