Fischbach (colloquially: Fīschba ) is a district of the market Lichtenau in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .
geography
The village is located on the Zandtbach , a right tributary of the Franconian Rezat and the Wöltendorfer Graben, which flows into the Zandtbach as a right tributary. To the east is the Fuchsloch forest area with the Roßberg, to the southeast the Höhenholz . The district road AN 14 runs through Fischbach and leads to Rückersdorf (0.7 km northeast) or to Wattenbach (1.5 km west). A community road leads to Sauernheim (2.4 km southeast).
history
The place was mentioned for the first time as "Uischbach" in a document from the year 1096. The place name is derived from the same name of the water (now called Zandtbach). Presumably the brook was named that way because of its abundance of fish.
In the Würzburg fief book , which was created between 1303 and 1313, 4 fiefdoms were recorded for the place, over which the lords of Heideck had the manor and bailiwick.
According to the Salbuch der Deutschordenskommende Nürnberg from 1343, the Eschenbach District Bailiff owned 1 Hube in Fischbach .
In the Salbuch of the Nuremberg Nursing Office Lichtenau from 1515 7 subject families are given for Fischbach: 5 subjects were subordinate to the imperial city of Nuremberg, 2 subjects to the city bailiff office Eschenbach. In the official description of the Lichtenau nursing office from 1748, the place is part of the Immeldorf main team. There were 7 subject families, 5 of which were from Nuremberg.
Towards the end of the 18th century there were 8 properties and a community shepherd's house in Fischbach. The high court and the village and community rulership was exercised by the Lichtenau nursing office. The landlords were the imperial city of Nuremberg (Lichtenau nursing office: 1 Gütlein; hospital and Katharinenklosteramt : 1 courtyard, 1 empty building ; state alms office: 2 courtyards, 1 half courtyard) and the Eschenbach municipal bailiff (2 courtyards).
In 1806 Fischbach came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict , Fischbach was assigned to the Sauernheim tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Sauernheim, founded in 1810 . With the second community edict (1818), Fischbach and Rückersdorf broke away from Sauernheim and formed a rural community. It was subject to the Heilsbronn Regional Court in administration and jurisdiction and the Windsbach Rent Office in the financial administration . From 1862 to 1879 Fischbach was administered by the Heilsbronn District Office , since 1880 by the Ansbach District Office (renamed the Ansbach District in 1938 ) and the Heilsbronn Rent Office (1920–1929: Heilsbronn Tax Office , from 1929: Ansbach Tax Office ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court Heilsbronn until 1879, 1880–1956 district court Heilsbronn , since 1956 district court Ansbach .
After 1900 the hammer forge was changed from Schlauersbach to Fischbach. The municipality had an area of 3,670 km². As part of the regional reform , the municipality of Fischbach was incorporated into Lichtenau on April 1, 1971.
