Sallmannshof (dialect: "salm ɒ shūf" or "schbīglhūf") is a district of the city of Wolframs-Eschenbach in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the Eschenbach (here called Gänsbach), a right tributary of the Erlbach , which in turn is a right tributary of the Franconian Rezat . The Hartbächlein flows into the Eschenbach from the right. Approx. The Flügelsberg ( 438  m above sea level ) rises 0.75 km to the southwest . Immediately to the west is the Utzenmühle .

The place is on the state road 2220 , which leads past the Utzenmühle to Wolframs-Eschenbach (2 km west) and past the Bölleinsmühle to Ismannsdorf (1.6 km east).

history

The place was first mentioned in 1331 as "Sallmansdorf". The defining word of the place name is the personal name Salman. A person of this name can be assumed to be the founder of the settlement. In the Salbuch of the Teutonic Order Coming Nuremberg from 1343, “Salmanstorf” consisted of the Mayer's court, a fiefdom, a Bölleinsmühle and a willow mill. All properties were subordinate to the Eschenbach office . In 1502 the place is called "Salmhof".

In the 16-point report of the Oberamt Windsbach from 1608, 1 team was recorded for “Sahlmansmühl”, which was subordinate to the Eschenbach municipal bailiff. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste and city bailiff's office in Windsbach .

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 4 properties in Sallmannshof (2 half courtyards, 1 estate, 1 mill). The high court continued to exercise the caste and city bailiff's office in Windsbach. The town bailiwick of Eschenbach held the village and community rulership and lordship over all properties. Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, house numbers were assigned to Sallmannshof: No. 1 was the Spiegelmühle, No. 2 and 3 Spiegelhof and No. 4 was the Utzenmühle . There were three subject families at that time. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the Justice and Chamber Office Windsbach .

As part of the community edict, Sallmannshof was assigned to the Sauernheim tax district, formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Sauernheim, founded in 1810 . With the second community edict (1818), Sallmannshof was re-incorporated into the newly formed rural community of Reutern . This was incorporated into Wolframs-Eschenbach on January 1, 1972 as part of the municipal reform.
