geography

A nameless stream rises near the hamlet , which joins another nameless stream to form a right tributary of the Weißenbronner Bächlein, which is a right tributary of the Schwabach . Southeast of the village is the Rompel ditch , in the southwest, the Betzenlohefeld and in the northwest the forest hell . A community connecting road leads to Seitendorf (0.8 km northeast) or to the district road AN 17 (1.6 km west) immediately south of Weißenbronn .

history

The place was first mentioned in 1245 as "Trashouestet" with the meaning to the court of Thragobold, Thragowald, Tragulf or the like. In this document it was confirmed that the Heilsbronn monastery had acquired goods in the place by exchanging with Konrad and Rudiger von Dietenhofen . Originally Trachenhöfstatt consisted of only two farms.

In the 16-point report of the Heilsbronn monastery office from 1608, 2 teams are listed for Trachenhöfstatt: Both farms had the Heilsbronn monastery administration office as landlord . The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste and city bailiff's office in Windsbach . The place became deserted in the Thirty Years War and was only slowly rebuilt.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 3 properties in Trachenhöfstatt. The high court was exercised by the caste and municipal bailiff's office in Windsbach, while the village and community rulership and the manorial rule over the three half-yards were held by the Heilsbronn monastery administrator. In addition to the households, there was the shepherd's house, which was a communal building. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the Justice and Chamber Office Windsbach . The number of properties remained unchanged.

As part of the community edict, Trachenhöfstatt was assigned to the Weissenbronn tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Weißenbronn, founded in 1810 . With the second community edict (1818) Trachenhöfstatt was re-grouped into the newly formed rural community Seitendorf . In the course of the regional reform this was incorporated into the city of Heilsbronn on January 1, 1972.
