Central data point of the state finance ministers

The central data office of the state finance ministers (ZDL) is an institution of the finance ministers' conference of the states . Its task is to support the finance ministries by collecting and processing financial policy data. Its seat is in the Prussian mansion in Berlin , the office building of the German Federal Council . The ZDL is an internal service facility of the federal states. The information it has compiled is only available to the finance ministries of the federal states. Organizationally, it is an institution of the Senate Administration for Finances of the State of Berlin with its seat in the Federal Council.

The head of the data center is Martin Braun, who is responsible for “Federal financial relations, in particular the financial constitution, matters relating to the conference of finance ministers and the finance committee in the Federal Council, educational finances, budgets of all local authorities, reform of financial statistics” and the deputy head is Dr. William Brunton with the responsibilities "Federal financial relations, especially financial issues, analysis and projection of the budgets of the federal government, the states, special accounts and social security, federal financial equalization, EU affairs".
