Mausenmühle is a district of the Neuendettelsau community in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland is the third mill located on the Aurach . A residential path leads to Mausendorf (0.6 km northwest). An agricultural traffic route runs to Steinhof (0.8 km southeast) or to Geichsenmühle (1.1 km west).

history

The monastery Heilsbronn received possessions mouse mill at the time of the 10th Abbot Otto by purchasing the wealthy noble family there Bruckberg. Konrad von Bruckberg , unsatisfied with the contract in retrospect, damaged these goods and led a lawsuit against the monastery, but lost it and died soon afterwards. In a deed from 1253 it was stipulated that the widow of the deceased, because of his injustice, also had to give the Mausenmühle slope to the monastery. In this deed of donation, the place is mentioned for the first time as "molendinum apud Mausendorf" (mill near Mausendorf).

On March 26, 1579, the mill was attacked by nine murder burners and set on fire.

In the 16-point report of the Oberamt Windsbach from 1608, a team is listed for the Mausenmühle that was subordinate to the Heilsbronn monastery administrator. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste and city bailiff's office in Windsbach .

Towards the end of the 18th century, the Mausenmühle belonged to the real municipality of Mausendorf. The property was owned by the Heilsbronn monastery administrator as the landlord. Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, the Mausenmühle received the number 12 of Mausendorf when the house numbers were assigned. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the Justice and Chamber Office Windsbach .

As part of the municipal edict, Mausenmühle was assigned to the Aich tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Aich, founded in 1810 . In the course of the regional reform this was incorporated into Neuendettelsau on January 1, 1972.

religion

The residents have been parish to St. Michael (Weißenbronn) since 1545 , before that since 1473 to St. Kunigund (Reuth) and originally to St. Maria (Großhaslach) . The residents of the Roman Catholic denomination were originally parish to Our Lady (Heilsbronn) , since 1992 they have been parish to St. Franziskus (Neuendettelsau) .
