Vogtsreichenbach (colloquially: "Fugsraichabach") is a district of the Cadolzburg market in the central Franconian district of Fürth .

geography

The village is naturally located in Rangau . It is located almost four kilometers southwest of Cadolzburg in the valley of the Reichenbach , a left tributary of the Bibert , and the Zautendorfer Bach, which flows into the Reichenbach as a left tributary, and another nameless stream. The Lohwald borders in the southeast, the Bodenäcker in the southwest. The Zautenbuck rises in the north.

A community road runs to Rütteldorf (1.2 km to the west) or to Ammerndorf to the state road 2409 (2.3 km to the south-east). Further communal roads lead to Zautendorf to the district road FÜ 19 (1.1 km north) and to Vincenzenbronn to the state road 2245 (1.8 km south).

history

The fertile valley of the Reichenbaches was already settled in Carolingian times. About one kilometer north-west of today's town center there was a medieval castle stable and another low castle of an unclear time position is built over in the town center. Both are protected as ground monuments.

The Vogtsreichenbacher mill, which has now been converted into a residential building, was first mentioned in 1352 when it belonged to the Egidienkloster Nuremberg . In 1396 the place was mentioned in a document as "Vogt Reichenbach". The place name is derived from the water name Reichenbach. The defining word "Vogt" serves to distinguish it from the nearby Oberreichenbach and can indicate that there was a residence of a Vogt in the village , or it can be derived from the family name Vogt .

After changing fortunes during the Margrave Wars and the Thirty Years War , the mill remained in operation.

At the end of the 18th century there were twelve properties in Vogtsreichenbach. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Cadolzburg . The state alms office of the imperial city of Nuremberg held the village and community rulership . The landlords were the imperial city of Nuremberg: Landesalmosenamt (five courtyards, a mill, a shepherd's house), St. Jobst-Siechenkobel (one courtyard, one estate) and Nuremberg owners: von Ebner and von Löffelholz (one half-yard), von Kreß (one estate) , from Volckamer (a farm).

As part of the community edict, Vogtsreichenbach was assigned to the Deberndorf tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Deberndorf , which was founded in the same year . The Bavarian original cadastre shows Vogtsreichenbach in the 1810s as a clustered village with 16 hearths and the mill.

The Second World War passed the place almost without a trace. Only in 1943 did two night fighters from the nearby Unterschlauersbach airfield collide during a training flight and crash. As a result, a stable was damaged by falling debris and a shed burned down.

As part of the regional reform in Bavaria , Vogtsreichenbach was incorporated into Cadolzburg on January 1, 1972.

The old town is still predominantly agricultural today. For example, there is a chicken farm and an alpaca farm . Only a few new buildings have been added since the 1960s, so that there are now 25 properties.
