history

The place was first mentioned in 1241 as "Hiltmerstorff". The defining word of the place name is the personal name Hiltmar.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 14 properties in Hiltmannsdorf. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Cadolzburg , which was disputed by the Landpflegamt Nürnberg . The village and community rulership was held by the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste office in Cadolzburg . The landlords were the bishopric of Bamberg ( cathedral provost office Fürth : 2 half yards, 1 house; office Herzogenaurach : 1 estate), the imperial city of Nuremberg (state alms office: 2 half yards; St. Klara monastery office : 1 estate) and Nuremberg owners ( from the landlord : 2 half yards ; von Kreß : 2 half yards; von Pömer : 1 quarter yard; von Scheurl : 1 quarter yard; von Zeltner: 2 estates). In 1800 there were still 14 properties.

As part of the community edict, Hiltmannsdorf was assigned to the Seukendorf tax district formed in 1808 . It belonged to the rural community Seukendorf formed in the same year . From 1821 to 1848 1 property in voluntary jurisdiction was subject to the Defersdorf Patrimonial Court , 2 properties were subject to the Boxdorf Patrimonial Court from 1823 to 1835 .
