history

The place was first mentioned by name in the Vetterchen Oberamtsbeschreibung von Cadolzburg from 1732 as "Taubenhoff". The final word of the place name is derived from the family name Taube or from the dove .

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 2 properties in Taubenhof. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach city bailiff Langenzenn . The state alms office of the imperial city of Nuremberg held the village and community rulership . The landlords were the Landesalmosenamt (1 yard) and the Zirndorf chaplain together with the Landesalmosenamt (1 half yard). In 1802 there were still 2 properties in the village.

As part of the municipal edict, Taubenhof was assigned to the Seukendorf tax district, which was formed in 1808 . It belonged to the rural community Seukendorf formed in the same year .
