Bislohe (colloquially: "Bislo u ") is a district of Fürth in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village forms a closed settlement with Schmalau to the north and Sack to the south-east . The place is surrounded in the west and east by the fields of the garlic country . A communal road leads past the Ronhof to Poppenreuth (2.9 km south) or via Schmalau to Großgründlach to the district road N 3 (1.7 km north). Another communal road leads southwest to Kronach (0.7 km southwest).

history

It can be assumed that the place, like most of the other Knoblauchsland villages, was formed during the deforestation period from 1000 to 1300. In the Berg'schen Reichslehenbuch from 1396 this is mentioned for the first time as "Pisloh". The base word of the place name is derived from the Middle High German word "loh" (= swamp meadow), the defining word probably from "binze" (= rush ).

In 1503 a moated castle "Pislo" , visible today only in small remnants, built into modern buildings, was mentioned for the first time. Wealthy citizens of Nuremberg were mentioned as owners, initially the Bühler brothers, during the Thirty Years' War ownership then changed to the Schwabs, and in 1777 to the Nuremberg Lord von Haller . In May 1552 Bislohe was destroyed by an army of the Brandenburg margrave Alcibiades.

Towards the end of the 18th century, Sack formed a community with Bislohe and Braunsbach . In Bislohe there were 5 properties (1 manor, 4 estates). The high court exercised the imperial city of Nuremberg , which was disputed by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Oberamt Baiersdorf . The Nuremberg owner von Haller held the village and community rulership and the lordship over all properties.

In 1796 Bislohe became Prussian, in 1808 it went to Bavaria . As part of the community edict, Bislohe was assigned to the Buch tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Buch, founded in 1813 . With the second community edict (1818) Bislohe was re-incorporated into the newly formed rural community Sack. From 1823 to 1848, the entire place was subject to the Bislohe Patrimonial Court in voluntary jurisdiction . The Bavarian original cadastre shows "Bisloh" in the 1810s as a hamlet with five courtyards north of the castle and a pond .

Destruction was caused by French armies passing through and Bislohe was also badly affected during World War II .

On July 1, 1972, Bislohe was incorporated into the city of Fürth as part of the municipal reform.

Today is the place next to the residential building, directly under the approach path of the Nuremberg airport is mainly through vast, noisy industrial areas (eg. Scrap recyclers, freight forwarding industry, etc.) dominated.

In terms of culture, the music center has also had a permanent location there since the 2000s (rehearsal room center).
