tasks and goals
Musikzentrale e. V. supports various projects, services and the network work of the music center. As a recognized independent youth welfare organization, the association continues to work closely with the youth welfare office of the city of Nuremberg and is financed up to a third from city subsidies. In addition, the Musikzentrale has been subsidized by the Central Franconia district since 2011 . The long and medium-term goal of the Musikzentrale is to work with those responsible from the fields of youth, culture and business to build and establish a functioning funding structure for popular music and its actors. In this context, the Musikzentrale sees itself as a representative of the regional music scene and wants to bundle their interests and act according to the respective needs. The main task is to keep the existing resources of the network accessible to all members and to pass on knowledge and experience. The priority, however, is to always initiate new modules and future projects to promote music and to intensify media presence.
Notable collaborations exist with the Weinturm Open Air , the Bridge Festival and the Mini Skirt Festival of the AZ Nürnberg and Radio Gong 97.1 .
