history
In 1340 the place was first mentioned in writing as "Niprestru e te". The place name has as a defining word the personal name of the founder Nepper (Nipprecht) and as a basic word -reuth , ie for clearing the Nipprecht . In the 13th century the place probably consisted of 7 whole courtyards. In Urbar for the castle Count's Office Schwabach, which was erected about 1360, the place is called "Nepperszrew e mentioned t". In the Salbuch of 1410 2 Gütlein and 1 Seldengut are given. However, the entry for the location is incomplete. In the Salbuch of the margravial office of Schwabach, which was set up in 1434, 7 Seldengüter are given for the place. In 1530 4 households (2 farms, 2 goods) were subordinate to the caste office in Schwabach . In 1732 there were 5 households in Neppersreuth according to Johann Georg Vetter's descriptions of the upper office .
Towards the end of the 18th century there were 5 properties in Neppersreuth (2 whole courtyards, 2 Köbler estates , 1 empty house ) and a community shepherd's house . The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach Oberamt Schwabach . The Schwabach caste office held the village and community rulership as well as the lordship over all properties. In 1800 there were still 5 properties in the village.
In 1808, Neppersreuth was assigned to the Günzersreuth tax district as part of the municipal edict . It also belonged to the rural community of Günzersreuth formed in 1818 . On January 1, 1972, Neppersreuth was incorporated into Kammerstein as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
