It is divided into station category 6 and has two 196 m long and 55 cm high side platforms. The other infrastructure includes a shelter per platform and 14 bicycle parking spaces. The stop is served by the regional train lines R3 (Nuremberg - Neuhaus) and R31 (Nuremberg - Simmelsdorf-Hüttenbach), and it is also linked to tram line 8 and OVF line 340.

history

The stop was opened on October 1, 1894 by the Royal Bavarian State Railways with the start of suburban traffic in the direction of Lauf (Pegnitz on the right) and was originally located east of today's overpass over the Äußere Sulzbacher Straße ( B 14 ). With the renovation of the narrow and accident-prone street underpass in 1984, the stop was relocated to its current location for better connection with the tram.
