The Großgründlach stop was a train station in Nuremberg , was on the Nuremberg – Bamberg railway line , was in the north of the city in the area of the Kleingründlach district and was in operation from 1876 to 1991.
history
The station was set up in 1876 by the Royal Bavarian State Railways as part of the relocation of the Ludwig-Süd-Nord-Bahn in Fürth ( Fürther Kreuzung - Fürth Bahnhof - Fürth-Unterfarrnbach - Vach - Großgründlach, so-called "Fürther Bogen") and because of declining passenger numbers Abandoned on June 2, 1991. The listed station building was demolished in 2003. In the course of the renewal of the route between Erlangen and Vach, the platforms and remaining facilities were completely demolished in summer / autumn 2012.
