The Nürnberg Ostring stop is an S-Bahn station in Nuremberg , located on the Nuremberg – Schwandorf railway line . It is located in the eastern corner of the Tullnau district , on the border with Gleißhammer and Mögeldorf , above the intersection with the Ringstrasse (B 4 R). It is divided into station category 6 and has a central platform 120 m long and 85 cm high. The stop is served by the S-Bahn line S1 (Bamberg - Nuremberg - Hartmannshof ) and is linked to the city bus lines 43 and 65.

The opening of the stop by the Deutsche Bundesbahn took place on September 26, 1987 with the start of operations on the first Nuremberg S-Bahn line.
