District Court Kötzting

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The District Court of Kötzting was a district court in today's Bad Kötzting in Bavaria that existed from 1879 to 1973 .

history

The district court of Kötzting was established in 1803. With effect from July 1, 1862, the Kötzting district office was set up as a purely administrative authority, and the previously existing interdependence of the administration of justice and administration in the lower administrative area was lifted. On July 15, 1862, the previous district court was converted into a district office and appointed a district officer first class. The jurisdiction of the regional court (as a judicial authority) was divided between two regional courts: Kötzting with 30 communities and Neukirchen b.Hl.Blut with 16 communities. As the initial instance of the lower jurisdiction, the regional courts were renamed uniformly in 1879 by the Courts Constitution Act in the district court . The district court in Kötzting was integrated as a branch in the district court of Cham on July 1, 1973 and dissolved in January 2007.
