Adolf Ufer

Adolf Emil Ufer (born November 16, 1863 in Landau , † April 13, 1939 in Traunstein ) was a German administrative lawyer.

Ufer was a son of the merchant Adolf Ufer and his wife Rosalie, nee. Beck. On December 7, 1897, he married Else Volz, a daughter of the bank director Friedrich Volz from Munich.

Life

After attending grammar school in Kaiserslautern , Ufer studied law at the University of Munich , where he became a member of the Corps Franconia . In the summer of 1888 he passed the university exam. He then did his service as a one-year volunteer in the Royal Bavarian Infantry Regiment "Prince Ludwig Ferdinand of Bavaria" in Landau. He completed his legal preparatory service at the district office, district court and regional court in Landau as well as with the local lawyer Friedrich August Mahla .

On March 1, 1894, Ufer was appointed District Office Assessor in Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate and was transferred to Ludwigshafen am Rhein in January 1889 at his request . In 1902 he became a government assessor in the government of Upper Bavaria . On December 1, 1904, district administrator in Berneck . In 1910 he received the title of a Royal Bavarian Government Councilor. On November 1, 1910, he became a district official in Traunstein , which was then the largest district office in Bavaria. In 1920 he was appointed senior councilor in this function. When he reached the age limit, he retired on December 31, 1928. He spent the last years of his life in Traunstein.
