The district court building was built in 1893 on the site of the former Franciscan monastery of St. Kassian . The monastery, which was dissolved in the course of secularization in 1802, was used for other purposes for several years. In 1809 the buildings were damaged in the course of the Battle of Regensburg and later demolished. In 1893, a neo-baroque building was erected there at Franziskanerplatz 10 for the district court , which today houses the state surveying office. The three-storey and stilted Mansardwalmdachbau with übergiebeltem means risalit and pilasters divisions over banded ground floor is entered in the list of monuments in Regensburg Stadtamhof .
