Eilsbrunn is a district of the municipality of Sinzing in the district of Regensburg with 1150 inhabitants (as of 2019).
history
Eilsbrunn was first mentioned in 1031 as "Egilisprunna". "Hartwic de Eigilbrunnen" is mentioned as the first citizen of the place in 1095. After the place still had the name "Eulsbrunn" in the 19th century, but the name "Eilsbrunn" was already used mainly by the church, it was changed to its current name on August 22, 1905 by the Royal Ministry of the Interior.
The independent municipality of Eilsbrunn became part of the municipality of Sinzing as part of the regional reform on July 1, 1972.
The population of Eilsbrunn has grown rapidly, especially in the last few decades. After the population was 303 in 1926, the steadily improved infrastructure was responsible for the increase to the current figure of around 1150 inhabitants.

Eilsbrunn is four kilometers northwest of the core town of Sinzing. Northeast which runs A 3 . The Schwarze Laber , a left tributary of the Danube, flows to the west . 1 km north-west is Schönhofen and 2 km north of the place is Nittendorf , both places in the market of Nittendorf. Eilsbrunn is located on loop path 14 ( "Schwarze-Laber-Schlaufe" ) on the Jurasteig .

- The Catholic parish church of St. Wolfgang is a hall building with a transept, hipped gable roof and a western tower with an onion dome .
- The rectory (Regensburger Straße 10) is a two-storey, two-wing hipped roof building with slate roofing from 1806
- The Gasthaus der Gaststätte Röhrl (Regensburger Straße 3) is a two-story mansard hipped roof building from the 18th century.
- The so-called Stifterhäusl (Buchsteinweg 1), a residential building, is a single-storey and eaves gable roof building that dates from the end of the 18th century

Eilsbrunn is the seat of the parish of the same name with the subsidiary communities of Mariaort and Thumhausen and around 2,200 believers. The parish church is located in the center of the village of Eilsbrunn.

Eilsbrunn is connected to the main town Sinzing by a road, 2 streets lead to Nittendorf. The next motorway entrances to the A3 are in Sinzing (5 km from the village center) and Nittendorf (4 km).
The RVV bus route 27 runs through Eilsbrunn, which runs from Haugenried to Regensburg and back (mixed route 26/27 in the evening and on weekends), on weekdays in the morning until 10 a.m. and in the afternoon from 1 p.m. every hour. There is also the bus route 127, which runs once in the morning and once at noon and thus connects Eilsbrunn with the Sinzing primary school.
