The District Court of Kelheim was a Bavarian "district court of the older order" in Kelheim , which existed from 1803 to 1879.

history

Kelheim has been an important seat of the Wittelsbach family since the 11th century . The "Regional Court of the Elderly Order" Kelheim was formed in 1803. In 1854 the Kelheim district court handed some communities over to the Stadtamhof and Regensburg (both Upper Palatinate) courts . The regional courts in the Kingdom of Bavaria as judicial and administrative authorities were absorbed into the district offices in administrative terms in 1862. The remaining justice facilities in Kelheim initially retained the name of the regional court. As the initial instance of the lower jurisdiction, the previous regional courts were renamed uniformly in 1879 by the Courts Constitution Act in the district court .
