"This Orient" Contemporary Middle Eastern and North African culture is an independent, English-language print and online magazine with a focus on architecture , design, photography and art. The magazine is based in Munich , Germany.

In November 2016 the first issue was published under the title " Comfort Zone " (November 25, 2016, Munich). The magazine was founded by Marouane Ben Belfort and Yasmin Rahmanzadeh. It has been run by Belfort alone since 2017 (when the second edition was published) and has been published by Dhabi Studio (also founded by Belfort) since July 2019.

The booklet is divided into the following four categories: Studio Visit , Architecture , Residents and Art . This is how the subtitle architecture, its residents, their art (German: architecture, their residents, their art) was founded .

Since the appearance of the third print edition under the title " The Greater Middle East ", the subject area of ​​the magazine has focused regionally on the Middle East and North Africa. Past and contemporary art and culture in connection with architecture and design are now the focus.

The print magazine appears once a year.
