Thomas Brodowicz

Thomas Brodowicz is an Austrian doctor and university professor. He is an associate professor at the Medical University of Vienna in oncology .

Life

After graduating from high school , Brodowicz studied medicine and received his doctorate in 1995 . He successfully completed his training as a specialist in internal medicine in 2001. On June 19, 2002 he completed his habilitation. He also completed a degree in hospital management. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Sarcoma Conference .

His research focus is on clinical studies on soft tissue sarcoma and the so-called gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) . In 2001 he received the Fellinger Prize from the Austrian Cancer Aid in Lower Austria. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology .
