Thomas Donaubauer (born February 24, 1966 ) is a former German Nordic combined athlete .

Donaubauer took part in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 1986 in Lake Placid , USA . There he won the bronze medal in the team competition on February 17, 1986 together with Roland Schmidt and Udo Laber. On March 13, 1987, he won his first and only place in the points in the Nordic Combined World Cup in a Gundersen competition on the normal hill followed by a cross-country skiing distance of 15 kilometers, which took place in Leningrad in the Soviet Union . In the B-World Cup of Nordic Combined , he was able to achieve two podium positions: both on December 16, 1990 in Planica and on March 3, 1991, he took second place in an individual competition. At the end of the season, second place was also in the overall standings, which is Donaubauer's best result in this competition series.
