Thomas Fitzner

Thomas Fitzner (* 1960 ) is an Austrian writer and journalist.

Fitzner worked as a journalist in Vorarlberg and later as an officer for several UN missions in the Middle East and North Africa. In Spain he first worked as a bookseller, later for an advertising agency and as a translator.

In his publications he often deals with topics related to Mallorca or the Balearic Islands. He also published articles and columns, etc. a. in the Mallorca Zeitung , of which he was part of the editorial team for four years. He has worked in an international tax office in Palma since 2012 and has worked on several books on Spanish tax law.

Fitzner has lived in Austria, Mexico, Syria, France, Israel, Lebanon and the Western Sahara. Since 1995 his residence is in Costitx on Mallorca.
