Thomas Gottweiss
Thomas Gottweiss (* 1979 in Apolda ) is a German politician from the Christian Democratic Union (CDU).
Life
Gottweiss studied communication science. Since 2004 he has been a member of the Weimarer Land district assembly for the CDU. Since May 2014 he has been the full-time mayor of the rural community of Ilmtal-Weinstrasse . On October 27, 2019, Gottweiss succeeded in entering the state elections in Thuringia 2019 as a member of the Thuringia state parliament as a direct candidate in the constituency Weimar I - Weimarer Land II with 29.4%. Gottweiss is married.
