Thomas I (Constantinople)

Thomas I , Greek Πατριάρχης Θωμάς, was patriarch of Constantinople (607–610). He is venerated as a saint in the Orthodox Church . His feast day is March 21st .

Life

Thomas was a deacon , then Sakellarios in Hagia Sophia in Constantinople. On October 21, 607 he was installed as Patriarch of Constantinople. 610 he died.
