Thomas Koep (born September 15, 1990 in Cologne ) is a German racing cyclist .

Thomas Koep has been a cyclist since 2004. As the overall runner-up on the Tour de Berlin 2011, he received points for the first time in the UCI Europe Tour ranking . From 2012 to 2016 he rode for the Stölting cycling team . His greatest success during this time was winning the International Oder Tour in 2013.

In 2016, the Stölting team drove as the Professional Continental Team and Koep started the Qatar tour , but had to give up after a fall due to the fracture of his upper arm. After the team disbanded at the end of the season and Koep no longer received a comparable contract, he ended his professional career as a cyclist. In the future, he declared that he would work professionally for the bicycle component manufacturer DT Swiss and drive as a racing driver for the socially committed Embrace the World team, for which the former Milram professional Dominik Roels also drives.
