Thomas Vedel Kvist (born August 18, 1987 in Odder ) is a former Danish cyclist .

In 2005 Thomas Kvist won a stage in the junior class at the Trofeo Karlsberg , a section of the Tour du Pays de Vaud and the overall ranking at the Grand Prix Patton. At the Giro della Lunigiana he won the third stage and was able to win the overall ranking. In the 2006 season Kvist drove for the Danish Continental Team Designa Køkken , but remained there without success. In 2008 he won the last stage of the Coupe des Nations Ville Saguenay and was also first in the overall standings. In 2008 he made the leap into the UCI ProTour and started between August 2008 and the end of 2010 for the Belgian ProTeam Quick Step-Innergetic .

At the end of the 2011 season, he ended his career as a professional cyclist with the Danish Continental Team Glud & Marstrand-LRØ in order to concentrate on his medical studies.
