Thomas Petri

Thomas Petri (* 1967 ) has been the state commissioner for data protection in Bavaria since July 1, 2009 .

Before that, he was deputy to the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information for the legal department. From 2000 to 2004 he was head of division for the private sector at the Independent State Center for Data Protection Schleswig-Holstein , then research assistant in the 1st Senate of the Federal Constitutional Court before moving to Berlin. Petri has a doctorate in law .
