Thomas Winter (soccer player)

Thomas Winter (born September 22, 1967 in Reutlingen ) is a former German professional soccer player and today's player coach.

Winter began his career at SSV Reutlingen 05 , for whose first team he played in the then third-class league since 1985. In 1987 he joined the Bundesliga team of Borussia Mönchengladbach , which he left in January 1991 to join the Stuttgarter Kickers , with whom Winter made it to the Bundesliga. After only half a year he left the Kickers again and returned to SSV Reutlingen 05, with the winter 1997 German amateur champion. In 1998 he moved to Kickers Offenbach , with whom Winter was promoted to the second Bundesliga, before joining the Borussia Fulda regional league team in 1999 . In Fulda, winter 2002 ended his career in the higher soccer game classes. After that he was still in the regional league from 2002 to 2005 at SV Steinbach , from 2005 to 2006 at TSV Grebenhain and from 2006 to 2008 at SG Niederaula / Hattenbach as a player-coach. In the regional league he was from 2008 to 2009 at FSG Wartenberg and from 2009 to 2012 at SV Nieder-Moos player-coach. From 2012 he was in charge of SV Mittelkalbach, who played in the Fulda Süd regional league. Since June 2018 he has been a player-coach at SV Blau-Weiss Großentaft active

Thomas Winter currently runs a football school.
