Thorsten Bohl

Thorsten Bohl (* 1967 ) is a German educational scientist and has been a professor of educational science at the University of Tübingen since 2007 .

Life

Thorsten Bohl did his doctorate and habilitation at the University of Tübingen at the educational and social and behavioral faculties. From 2004 to 2007 he was Professor of School Pedagogy at the Weingarten University of Education and from 2007 Professor of Educational Science / School Pedagogy at the University of Tübingen. He is the author of several monographs and, among other things, a member of the university council of the Ludwigsburg University of Education, the advisory board of the Rock Your Life initiative and the editors of the 'Jahrbuch für Allgemeine Didaktik'.

His research projects include "Studying successfully in Tübingen (ESIT) - development of an overall didactic concept for the University of Tübingen", "Recording and developing the quality of instruction in a non-school teaching and learning setting (Abiturma)" and "Evaluation of the regional school and Educational landscape in Plochingen and the surrounding area ”.

During his time at the Weingarten University of Education, he was director of the Center for School Development and Professionalization and head of the international "Master in School Development" course until 2007.
