Thumbshirn , also Thomser , Thumser , Thumshorn , Thomashirn o. Ä. Is an old, extinct noble family from the Vogtland and the Landgraviate of Thuringia , which later also settled in the Margraviate of Meissen .

history

There are different, sometimes controversial and contradicting views about the origin and the oldest representatives of the sex. The male line died out in the first half of the 18th century.
