Thutmose (vizier, 19th dynasty)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thutmose was an ancient Egyptian vizier who probably served under Ramses II .

Thutmose is known from only a few monuments. He is mentioned on a relief fragment that was found in the grave of the vizier Parahotep in Sedment , which suggests that he may have officiated at the same time or before. He is also mentioned on an ostracon from the Valley of the Kings and in a graffito. The location of the latter objects may indicate that he was a southern vizier. The small number of objects named Thutmose indicates a short term in office.
