history

Thyssenkrupp Schulte, Cologne branch

Thyssenkrupp Schulte goes back to the Heinrich August Schulte company . This iron shop was first registered in Dortmund in 1896. In 1926 the company was taken over by the Vereinigte Stahlwerke Aktiengesellschaft (VSt) in Düsseldorf, which resulted in the expansion of the business to numerous branches and holdings in north-west Germany. With the economic miracle of the 1950s, the company begins to operate across Germany. New branches are established and new products are added to the range. The name was finally changed to Thyssen Schulte GmbH in 1978, followed by the name change to ThyssenKrupp Schulte GmbH in 2003. Since November 2015, as part of the thyssenkrupp brand relaunch, the spelling has been thyssenkrupp Schulte.
