Tian Zifang

Tian Zifang ( Chinese  田 子 方 , Pinyin Tián Zǐfāng ) was a Chinese philosopher from the Warring States Period who is mentioned in many ancient texts. The 21st chapter of the work Zhuangzi , for example, was named after him. Dongguo Shunzi ( Chinese  東 郭順子 , Pinyin Dōngguō Shùnzi ) was his teacher.

He was believed to have been a close advisor to Duke Wen von Wei ( 魏文侯 ), an enlightened ruler who held the throne of the Wei state (魏) from 445 to 396 BC. Chr. Held.
