The Tianhou Gong (also: Heavenly Queen Temple , Tianhou Temple , Tianhou Palace , Palace of the Heavenly Goddess or Tianfei Palace ; Chinese  天 后宫 , Pinyin Tiānhòu Gōng , English Tianhou Palace in Tianjin / Temple of the Heavenly Matriarch / Tianjin Tianhou Temple ) is a Taoist temple in the city of Tianjin in China. The goddess Tianhou is also known by the name Mazu . She is the goddess of the sea and the patron goddess of fishermen. The temple is located directly at the confluence of the Hai He and the Imperial Canal . The temple was founded in 1326 during the time of the Yuan Dynasty and expanded in later times. It is one of the three oldest Tianhou temples in China.

The site of the Tianfei Palace ( 天妃宫 遗址 , Tianfei Gong yizhi ) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-3) since 2006 .
